A Tapestry of Adventure

Tucked away on the second floor, in the eaves of the roof, this glorious bedroom has a birds eye view of the entire grounds. 

The house once owned by a family of draper’s used this space as the sewing room, and so the name Stitch seemed very fitting!  Full of soft light and decorated in a creamy yellow this room feels restful and rejuvenating.

The heritage of the room is shown within the exposed timber ceiling beams and quaint leaded windows.  The design features a super-king bed with tapestry headboard, and impressive handmade screen that divides the dressing area and bathroom,  both using a collection of stunning textiles that have been collected by the owners on explorations around the world making this room extra memorable.

 The free standing cast iron bath sits comfortably at the end of the bathroom area open to the bedroom.  The bathroom boasts a magnificent washstand, shower and a fully enclosed loo.
