A loft of treasures

Hidden away on the second floor within the lofts, this ‘intriguing’ bedroom has tree top sky views peeking out between the roofs.  Historically part of the servants quarters, this space feels characterful and calm.

There is an abundance of heritage in this room, from the exposed timber beams to the gnarly exposed brick chimney which forms one of the oldest parts of the house.  During the renovation many items and  were found hidden in this very space, under the floor boards,  in the secret lofts voids and behind the old plaster.  The study of the items that told a tale from the past led to the room name!

 The design features a super-king bed with original pitch pine timber bead head and artworks of Victorian woodland fairies that were found here.  

 The bathroom, located in the smallest loft was once the nannies bedroom in times past, it now boasts a free standing cast iron bath, rain shower, loo and classic large washstand.

 This room interconnects to Loft No5, a perfect bedroom for children.
