Highfield is a Victorian/mock Elizabethan merchant's house with a lot of character, making it the ideal venue for an unconventional wedding. Our Reception Hall is a deep royal blue colour that is ideal for pre-wedding photography of the couple before or after the ceremony. After the ceremony, guests will be able to roam the beautiful and magical grounds, or even visit our quirky Library room for refreshments.
Our eight acres of ancient woodlands and groomed grounds can be transformed into opulent enchanted forests or delicately dressed with magical décor to help you create something outrageously romantic. Meanwhile, you'll avoid the hassles of an out-of-the-way outdoor ceremony.
Alternative Wedding Theme
Why not plan a themed wedding? Choosing a theme makes deciding on a colour scheme, décor, and entertainment extremely easy. Themes are also a lot of fun! They can be incorporated to your liking and can reflect your personality as a duo. Themed weddings, contrary to popular opinion, shouldn't have to be tacky. Why not have a 70s glam rock wedding or a magical woodland wedding?
Look the Part
The way you dress influences how you feel. Don't settle for anything less than your absolute best on your wedding day! We believe in embracing our quirks, so we genuinely think that an amazing wedding look shows personality! Don't be afraid to try on and experiment with everything in the store! There are no rules, and you are not even required to wear white!
