Our story

In 2015 Andy and Lindsey Lampard embarked on the adventure of a lifetime after falling in love with The Highfield House. They sold their one-bedroom flat in South London and moved into this vast historic home, launching an ambitious new hotel and restaurant business.

The couple had run an international design firm in London, designing restaurants, bars, clubs and hotels all over the world, but were looking for a new adventure.

Andy says: “We wanted a family, we needed space and we dreamt of more creative freedom. Then we found Highfield. It started as a great family home with quicker links to work, but then we realised what an opportunity we had to share it with other people.”

For Lindsey, Highfield is a return to her East Yorkshire roots since she grew up in Pocklington, while Andy hails from Birmingham. They met while working as interior designers in London.

The Lampards’ Driffield adventure is very much a family affair. Lindsey and Andy have had four children since moving into Highfield – Alban (7), Jonah (5) Hugo (4) and Lola (2) – while their parents are closely involved in the business too.
